Every alert you can build today is one condition: one market, one threshold or one move. That covers a lot. But some of the situations people actually watch for are two or three conditions deep - and until now the honest answer was "set several alerts and do the logic in your head." Compound alerts do the logic for you. They're in early access now, on their way to the plans listed on the pricing page.

What a compound alert is

It's the same building blocks you already know - triggers and shifts - chained together with and / or logic. Up to eight conditions in one alert, grouped and nested however the situation demands: A and B, A or B, A and (B or C). One alert, one notification, only when the whole picture matches.

In the criteria builder it lives on the last step, where you'd normally pick a market. A new Conditions panel lets you switch between a single condition (the classic form) and compound conditions. Flip it and your first condition is already in the tree, ready to be joined by more.

What it unlocks

Across markets

"The spread crosses +7 and the total drops below 44" - two markets on the same game, one alert. Fires only when both are true, not twice when each is. Add an or group and you can layer a live condition on top: the whole thing below reads as "spread past +7 and total under 44, and the live moneyline is longer than +150."

Against the opener or the close

Pre-match trigger conditions can now aim at a specific snapshot: the opening line, the closing line, or any pre-match number. "Closed as a favorite" and "opened as a favorite" become different, precise things.

At the same time

An "and" group can require its conditions to hold simultaneously - matching in the same moment, not just each true at some point during the window. That's the difference between "both things happened tonight" and "both things were true at once," and for live markets it matters.

Why bother?

Noise. A single-condition alert on a busy slate can fire a lot, and every extra condition is a filter. The more precisely an alert describes the situation you actually care about, the more every notification feels earned - which has been the goal since the first version of the criteria builder. Compound alerts are that idea taken to its logical end: describe the whole situation, hear about the whole situation.

Rollout

Compound alerts are live for a small early-access group while we finish hardening the evaluation pipeline - eight-condition trees evaluated against live odds are exactly the kind of thing you test thoroughly before opening the doors. On plans: Sharp includes one compound alert, and Pro makes every alert compound-capable. If you want a head start on thinking in conditions, the starter alerts are all single-condition setups that combine naturally once this arrives.
